“Grace doesn’t cover up who we are. It reveals who God is—and draws us closer to Him.”
From His abundance, we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ
John 1:16-17
Welcome to Grace Beyond the Surface
Grace Beyond the Surface is a ministry anchored in deep faith, shaped by experience, and held together by the steady grace of God. It’s a ministry for people who feel worn down by life and long for something real, for those who have experienced struggle, loss, addiction, shame, and regret, and are still learning to walk with Jesus through it all.
Created by Peter, Grace Beyond the Surface began as a personal blog—but over time, God began speaking to Peter about expanding it into something more. It is not just a place to share words but also a way to help others in practical, tangible ways. It was born from the reality of what it means to be broken and still be loved. Peter's writing comes from years of walking through failure, redemption, healing, and the kind of grace that doesn't just forgive but also rebuilds.
This space is grounded in Scripture and shaped by experience. You'll find honest reflections, stories from the trenches, and quiet encouragement for the days when you're just trying to keep going.
As this ministry grows, we're working toward offering care packs for people who are homeless, financially struggling, or facing hard times. These packs will include simple essentials like hygiene items, food, socks, handwritten notes, and tangible reminders that someone sees them and God hasn't forgotten them.
If you feel led to support this ministry, your generosity enables us to continue providing care packs and other essential resources to those in need. Every gift, big or small, helps share God’s love practically.
There's more to come. Over time, we'll add devotions, tools, and free resources to support you with care and sincerity in your walk with God.
We’re here to offer steady encouragement, thoughtful writing, and reminders that God’s grace meets us in the middle of real life. This is a space where you can feel seen, take a breather, and be encouraged in your walk with Jesus.
After losing everything, my home, family, job, and identity, I cried out to God from my car. This post is about God showing me contentment doesn’t come from comfort; Rather it comes from trusting God’s presence, even in our emptiest moments.
My personality is from zero to a thousand without thinking, then I start feeling inadequate because what I have to say isn’t important. It’s like the momentum crashes into doubt. I was sharing with my wife the other day how disheartened I was feeling. Because she knows me so well, she said you need to remember leg days.
