True Peace

For years, I had searched for peace, but I found only striving, doubt, and inner unrest. I quoted Scriptures, performed well, and tried to look composed, but deep down, I was breaking. It wasn’t until I surrendered and began to truly abide in Christ that I discovered the peace I had longed for. Through Gideon’s story, I learned that peace doesn’t come through control or performance; it comes through obedience and trust.
